Collection: Octopus Hooks

Octopus hooks are compact bait hooks with a short shank and a rounded bend. They are useful for presenting natural baits on a variety of freshwater and saltwater rigs.

Match the hook size and gap to your bait so the point remains clear, and choose wire strength suited to your line and target fish. Compare eye angles and hook shapes when selecting a knot or snell, and check the point for damage before fishing.
