Parks Catfish Planer Boards are heavy-duty in-line planer boards built to spread catfish baits away from the boat and open up a wider trolling or drifting spread. Their larger aluminum-and-dense-foam construction is intended for the resistance created by big catfish baits, sinkers, and river or reservoir current while remaining easy to see on the surface.
Key Features
- Large planer-board profile designed for catfish trolling and drifting
- Aluminum body with dense flotation foam for lift and surface visibility
- Approximate dimensions: 10 in. long x 5 3/4 in. tall with 9 in. of foam
- Approximately 1 1/2 in. thick foam
- Sold as a matched right-and-left pair with two quick-release clips
- Made in Le Roy, Kansas, USA
Best Uses
Use Parks Catfish Planer Boards to move cut bait, live bait, or dragging rigs away from the boat while slow trolling or drifting for blue, channel, and flathead catfish. They are especially useful when running several rods because the boards spread lines laterally, helping anglers cover more water and keep presentations separated. Match sinker weight and leader setup to current, depth, bottom cover, and the size of bait being pulled.
