Structure Snakes Flexible Dragging Weights are long, flexible catfish sinkers designed to crawl across rocks, timber, laydowns, gravel, and other snag-prone bottom while keeping a baited rig in contact with the structure. Instead of using a short rigid sinker body, the Structure Snake bends as it moves, allowing the weight to follow bottom contours and work through cover that can quickly hang conventional sinkers.
The weight is coated in a high-density polypropylene thermoplastic that creates a smooth outer surface while allowing the sinker to flex around obstructions. Structure Snakes are especially useful for dragging and drifting catfish rigs because they help anglers keep the bait close to the bottom while moving through standing timber, rocky areas, and irregular structure where blue and channel catfish commonly feed.
